The EMSELLA Chair uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic Energy (HIFEM (2.5 Tesla strength magnet, MRI-like strength) on the pelvic floor muscles. The 30-minute treatment is completely comfortable and tolerable. The typical treatment protocol for incontinence are 6 sessions booked 2-4 days apart.
A Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist and EMSELLA By Aroused Medical Consultant will provide individualized at-home exercises and stretches to maximize retention, along with our exclusive online retention therapy course. With no downtime, you will be able to return to normal activities immediately after the treatment.
Those who are pregnant, have any metal, electronic devices, or copper IUDs are not suitable for EMSELLA and should see a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist at MAUD for alternative treatment.
Many individuals may notice a difference after the first session. Most patients notice the optimal results after the three sessions. You may find that your symptoms may worsen before they get better due to some initial pelvic floor muscle fatigue.
Results depend on the severity of your condition. If you have minor incontinence or Erectile Dysfunction, you may never need EMSELLA again. EMSELLA pricing varies depending on your needs, from $270 to $330/ treatment. The Health Canada and FDA-approved protocol consists of a minimum of six treatments. A typical EMSELLA By Aroused program would include consultation, an exam with a pelvic floor physiotherapist, and a series of six EMSELLA By Aroused Medical treatments followed by retention counselling.
Commitment to your success is our priority. According to Health Canada and FDA-approved protocol, you must book all treatments 2-4 days apart.
Depending on your extended healthcare insurance coverage, you may be able to claim a portion or all of EMSELLA By MAUD treatments.
